CNFans Spreadsheet After the Shutdown: The Second PandaBuy, and How to Save Your Rows

Checked · the PandaBuy Alternatives desk

Short answer

CNFans has closed. It stopped taking Weidian orders on January 22, 2026, according to CNBuyPilot, and rep.tools reported the shutdown as owner-confirmed in August 2026. For many people it was where they went after PandaBuy, so they have now lost a second agent in two years. The rows in a CNFans spreadsheet are still useful: CNFans links carry the marketplace and item number (shop_type and id), which convert straight back to the original Weidian, Taobao or 1688 page. At our last check 23 other agents were open and able to take those links.

16 finds to replace dead CNFans rows

Listings of the kind CNFans sheets were built on, checked so the photo and link match. Any open agent can buy them; each tile opens on repbuysheet.com with every seller photo. Old PandaBuy sheets ran to thousands of rows; the repbuysheet.com catalog behind these tiles keeps going with 10,000+ products.

Sponsored links. Photo, name and button all open one listing on repbuysheet.com, where the seller's full photo set, the size options and the source shop link live. Dollar and yuan prices are copied from that catalog on the check date and move with the exchange rate.

When and how did CNFans close?

CNFans didn't stop overnight. The closure came in stages, and anyone who watched PandaBuy in 2024 will recognise some of the signs:

CNBuyPilot (updated May 24, 2026); rep.tools CNFans write-up (updated Sept 22, 2026); Trustpilot read Sept 2026.

The difference from PandaBuy is the cause. PandaBuy ended in a police raid with warehouses sealed and stock seized, which is why parcels and balances were lost in one go. CNFans wound down over months, cutting off one marketplace first. That gave alert users time to ship what was in storage, and the people who lost items were mostly those who kept money in a balance or let parcels sit after the Weidian cut-off.

Verdict: A partial shutdown, like CNFans stopping Weidian, is the moment to ship everything and move. It rarely gets better from there.

Rescue the links in a CNFans spreadsheet

CNFans links are easier to convert than PandaBuy's, because they almost always include the marketplace and the item number in plain sight. A typical row looks like cnfans.com/product?shop_type=weidian&id=7234567890. From that you can rebuild weidian.com/item.html?itemID=7234567890 without guessing.

  1. Copy the whole link column from the sheet.
  2. Paste it into the link converter, which reads shop_type=weidian, taobao and ali_1688 and returns the original addresses in the same order.
  3. Paste the clean column back into your sheet next to the old one, so you keep both.
  4. Open a few rows: deleted listings show a blank or 'item not found' page and can be dropped.
  5. Paste the working links into any open agent.

CNFans also used its own short links in some sheets. Those depend on CNFans's servers, so if they no longer redirect, the only fix is a second copy of the sheet with full links. Community mirrors of the popular CNFans sheets often have them; see the Reddit and Discord sheet guide for where to look.

Verdict: Full CNFans links convert cleanly. Short codes only survive if someone saved the long version.

CNFans and PandaBuy: two endings compared

Many people searching for a CNFans spreadsheet now are looking for its replacement, much as they did with PandaBuy. Here is how the two closures compare, and what they mean for the next choice:

Trustpilot at the end—4.1/5 from 13,294 reviews

PandaBuy: Managing IP, Wikipedia, CNBuyPilot. CNFans: CNBuyPilot, rep.tools, Trustpilot.

A good review score didn't protect either set of users: CNFans finished with 4.1/5 from over thirteen thousand reviews. What would have protected them is shipping promptly and not holding a balance. Among the open agents, KakoBuy and Superbuy are the two open agents with the longest records near the top of rep.tools' 2026 ranking; Oopbuy, whose search interest has risen sharply this year, is a third option.

Verdict: Pick the next agent on track record and spread risk: two accounts with small balances beat one account with a big one.

What two closures teach about the next agent

PandaBuy and CNFans together are a fairly complete lesson in how agents fail. Four habits would have protected most of their users:

  • Keep marketplace links, not agent links. A Weidian item ID outlives any agent.
  • Pay per order. PandaBuy wallets and late CNFans balances were where the money went missing.
  • Ship inside the free storage window. Items sitting for months are the most exposed if an agent stops.
  • Watch for partial shutdowns and review gaps. A marketplace being dropped, or weeks with no new reviews, came before both closures.

The agent status board flags those last two signals for every agent we track, and the PandaBuy status page covers the scam sites that appeared after both closures.

Verdict: The cheapest insurance is behaviour, not choice of agent: small balances, prompt shipping and your own copy of the original links.

CNFans shutdown: questions

Is CNFans shut down?

Yes. According to CNBuyPilot it stopped taking Weidian orders on January 22, 2026, and rep.tools reported the shutdown as confirmed by the owner in August 2026. The last Trustpilot review we could see is dated August 19. Its website may still load, but that doesn't mean it's trading. Don't send money or orders there; convert your rows for an open agent instead.

Can I still use a CNFans spreadsheet?

Yes. A full CNFans link spells out the marketplace and item number, for example shop_type=weidian plus an id value, so the original Weidian, Taobao or 1688 page can be rebuilt without guessing. The link converter reads weidian, taobao and ali_1688 and returns clean addresses in order. Any of the 23 open agents at our last check can then buy them. Convert once and the sheet works anywhere.

What is the best CNFans alternative?

There's no single answer, but KakoBuy and Superbuy are the open agents with the longest records near the top of rep.tools' 2026 ranking, and Oopbuy's search interest has risen sharply this year. Check the status board first, because several agents have run into trouble in 2026. Spreading risk helps too: two accounts with small balances are safer than one big one.

Is CNFans the same company as PandaBuy?

No. They were separate agents with different endings. PandaBuy closed after a police raid on April 11, 2024, with warehouses sealed and no warning. CNFans grew partly by taking in PandaBuy's users that year, then wound down over months, dropping Weidian in January 2026 before closing that August. Both closures teach the same lesson: pay per order and ship promptly.

Will I get my CNFans balance back?

There's no guarantee, but it's worth trying. Email CNFans through its official address if it still replies, and open a dispute with PayPal or your card issuer if the payment is within their time limit. Keep receipts and balance screenshots as evidence. Ignore anyone offering recovery for a fee; scam sites appeared after both the PandaBuy and CNFans closures. In future, pay per order so no balance sits waiting.

Do CNFans short links still work?

Only while CNFans's servers still redirect them, and with the agent closed since August 2026 that can't be relied on. A short link has no item ID you can read. If one fails, find the same row in another copy of the sheet that kept full links; community mirrors on Reddit and Discord often have them. Save long versions now wherever short ones still resolve.

What CNFans is based on

Put together by the PandaBuy Alternatives desk; every claim was checked against the list below on . The PandaBuy history leans on court records, police-side reporting and Wikipedia; agent fees, storage and review counts come from each agent's own pages or the named trackers. Where sources disagree we print both. A finds tile was only published if its main photo and its link showed the same item.
