How to spot a PandaBuy clone site

5. No history. Look up the site's Trustpilot page and the age of its domain. A two-month-old site with only five-star reviews is a warning, not a recommendation.

• Card top-ups: card schemes typically allow around 120 days, sometimes more for non-delivery. Ask your bank, but expect a refusal for 2024 payments.
• Parcels in the warehouse: the raid sealed PandaBuy's warehouses and stock was seized; we know of no route by which customers' parcels were released.

Treat every offer to recover PandaBuy money as a scam. Recovery-service scams typically ask for an upfront fee, your old login or remote access to your phone.

One thing is still worth doing: check the 2024 data leak. 1,348,407 PandaBuy accounts were posted online, including email addresses and in many cases passwords. If you reused your PandaBuy password anywhere, change it there and turn on two-factor login.

Verdict: The money is very unlikely to come back. Protect what you still control: your other accounts, and pay per order at your next agent, never keeping a balance.
