USFans Spreadsheet: What the Name Hides, and What US Buyers Leaving PandaBuy Should Check

Checked · the PandaBuy Alternatives desk

Short answer

USFans is an open shopping agent, and the first thing to know is that the name is just a name: KakoGuide places its warehouse in Xiamen, China. So a USFans parcel to the US goes through customs exactly as a PandaBuy parcel did, except that the $800 duty-free allowance no longer exists. Reviewers report freight bills above $100 on parcels they expected to be cheaper, and Trustpilot has withdrawn its score (759 reviews remain, 729 from the past year). PayPal checkout is its main draw.

16 finds, weighed up for US hauls

A mix of light pieces and heavier ones, so you can see which rows push a US parcel up a weight step. Each tile opens repbuysheet.com. 16 finds here, and 10,000+ products in the catalog the tiles open, filterable by brand and size.

Sponsored links. Photo, name and button all open one listing on repbuysheet.com, where the seller's full photo set, the size options and the source shop link live. Dollar and yuan prices are copied from that catalog on the check date and move with the exchange rate.

What changed for US buyers since PandaBuy?

PandaBuy's busiest years were also the years when most small parcels entered the US duty-free under the $800 de minimis rule. That's over:

Trustpilot—Score withdrawn · 759 reviews

US rule from CBP-based summaries; USFans from KakoGuide and Trustpilot (Sept 2026).

The name might suggest US warehousing and US-side handling, which would change the duty picture. It doesn't: the goods leave China like any other agent's. The cost of a US haul is now item price, agent charges, international freight and import charges on every parcel, which is why the freight and the declared value deserve more attention than they did on PandaBuy.

Verdict: USFans is a China agent with a US-sounding name. Price a US haul with duty included, as the duty calculator does.

Checking a USFans freight quote

The most common complaint in USFans reviews is the freight bill. Several reviewers describe totals above $100 for parcels they expected to be much cheaper. Before you pay for shipping:

  1. Ask for the packed weight and box dimensions, then run them through the shipping calculator to see whether volume is driving the price.
  2. Remove shoe boxes and request compact packing.
  3. Compare two lines: a cheaper postal-style line can be worth a week's wait.
  4. Check whether the line includes duty. If not, add an estimate from the duty calculator to the quote.

On reviews: Trustpilot withdrew USFans's score after removing reviews; of those left, 74% are five-star and 15% one-star, and 729 of 759 arrived in a single year, which suggests a recent review drive. Gridinsoft's July 2026 write-up treats USFans as a working service rather than a scam.

Verdict: A big freight bill is usually a big box. Ask for dimensions before you pay.

USFans's fees and storage

USFans's headline terms, compared with what PandaBuy offered:

Service fee0% service feeDisputed: 0% or about 5%
Free storage90 days90 days (reported)

USFans fee and storage from third-party sources; no official fee table found.

Without a fee table, the only reliable record is your own cart. Screenshot the item total and every fee line on the first order, and compare it with the 0% and 5% figures that circulate. If it's 5%, that's a cost PandaBuy didn't charge.

Verdict: Treat USFans's fee as unknown until your own cart shows it.

Moving a PandaBuy sheet to USFans

Moving a PandaBuy sheet to USFans follows the usual pattern: convert the links with the link converter, paste the clean Weidian or Taobao links into USFans, and keep the clean column as your master. For US buyers in particular, it's worth one extra step: tag each row in your sheet with a rough weight. Hoodies and trainers add weight fast, and on US lines weight now carries both freight and duty.

If PayPal checkout is why you're looking at USFans, note that several open agents accept PayPal; KakoBuy charges 2.9% + $0.30 on it according to rep.tools. Compare the landed cost, not the payment method. The US shipping guide covers customs and last-mile delivery.

Verdict: For US buyers, weight is the number to track per row. It drives both freight and duty.

Declared value on a US parcel

For US buyers the declared value on a parcel now matters more than it did in PandaBuy's day, because every parcel is dutiable. A few principles:

  • Declare what you paid, item by item. The agent's invoice is the evidence if CBP asks.
  • Don't under-declare. It can delay or hold a parcel, and it lowers any insurance payout if the parcel is lost.
  • Describe items plainly ('cotton T-shirts', 'running shoes'). Vague descriptions slow clearance.
  • Ask whether the line includes duty. Some agent lines quote a duty-inclusive price; others leave it to the carrier.

The old habit, inherited from the $800 era, of declaring low to stay under a threshold no longer has a threshold to stay under. What reduces cost now is consolidation (one parcel, one entry) and choosing what to buy. The US guide and duty calculator go into the details.

Verdict: Declare honestly and consolidate. Those are the only levers left for US buyers.

USFans questions

Is USFans a US company?

Not in the way the name suggests. KakoGuide places the USFans warehouse in Xiamen, China, so your goods leave China just as they did with PandaBuy and clear US customs on arrival. There's no US-side handling that would change the duty picture. Price any US haul as an ordinary China import, with freight and duty both included, before you order.

Is USFans legit?

It appears to be a working agent. Gridinsoft's July 2026 write-up treats it as a real service rather than a scam. Trustpilot, however, withdrew its score after removing reviews, and 729 of the 759 that remain arrived within a single year, which hints at a review drive. Orders do get delivered, so begin with one small order and judge from that.

Why is USFans shipping expensive?

Several reviewers describe freight totals above $100 for parcels they expected to cost far less. The usual cause is a big box billed by volume rather than weight. Ask for the packed weight and dimensions, remove shoe boxes, request compact packing and compare two shipping lines before paying. If the quote still looks high, check it against the shipping calculator first.

Do I pay US duty on USFans parcels?

In most cases, yes. The $800 duty-free allowance ended for China-origin parcels on May 2, 2025, and for every country on August 29, 2025, so each parcel is now dutiable. Ask whether your chosen line includes duty; if not, add an estimate from the duty calculator. Declare what you actually paid and consolidate items into one parcel to keep costs down.

Can I use PandaBuy links on USFans?

Yes, once converted. Run each PandaBuy link through the link converter to recover the original Weidian or Taobao address, then paste that into USFans. Keep the clean column as your master copy. US buyers should also note a rough weight next to each row, because hoodies and trainers add up quickly and weight now drives both freight and duty.

Does USFans accept PayPal?

Yes, and PayPal checkout is one of the main reasons people pick USFans. Read the fee on the checkout screen before you confirm; PandaBuy charged 3.7% + $0.30 for PayPal. Other open agents take PayPal too, KakoBuy at 2.9% + $0.30 according to rep.tools. Compare the full landed cost of a haul rather than choosing an agent by payment method.

How we checked USFans

Put together by the PandaBuy Alternatives desk; every claim was checked against the list below on . The PandaBuy history leans on court records, police-side reporting and Wikipedia; agent fees, storage and review counts come from each agent's own pages or the named trackers. Where sources disagree we print both. A finds tile was only published if its main photo and its link showed the same item.
